I’m a Native American without insurance because we get free basic healthcare through our tribes.. so when I called around to get my FIRST pregnancy ultrasound they were able to get me in without insurance. They were very polite on the phone and let me know I would be allowed one guest. Once I arrived they would not let my HUSBAND come with me and took me to this creepy seating room to ask if I was basically there against my will and I didn’t think anything of it since it was probably a formality for low income services so I let it go. I was once again stunned when they said you can hang your coat up specifically behind the door.. because they wanted to make sure I read the plaque that says put a marking on your urine cup to let us know your in danger.. once again I rolled my eyes at the unnecessariness of this because I had thought we had a good questionnaire on the phone and they knew my husband and I were excited about this. Finally we reach the sonogram room where they begin to ask if I need them to pray for me and I multiple times said thank you but no thanks. I begin questioning when my husband will be allowed in the room since they said I could have my one guess.. they said he would get to come in after I was already in the stirrups declothed and looking at the ultrasound. I immediately call my husband to decline the service because I won’t be seeing our baby with out him with me. They scold me for being on the phone so I tell them politely that I am no longer interested and they wouldn’t let me through the door and assured me it was “okay” and he would get to come back there. My husband on the phone asked me to ask if we could have the tv screens turned off so that I won’t see anything first and they said no multiple times before agreeing that that was okay. They brought my husband back once I was on the table and they already had started the vaginal ultrasound. My husband and I were oohing and ahhing like normal and making fun jokes and the sonographer didn’t reciprocate a kind laugh or welcoming gesture not even once during the whole thing. They once again made my husband leave the room before I could even put my clothes back on and proceeded to ask me more inappropriate questions about my future plans with my pregnancy after repeatedly going through this same process. I would not recommend this place to even a woman in need, there are better resources out there and unlike me who should have been patient for my insurance to kick in.. just wait until you can go to the right place. They also have some creepy mobile RV that goes to Wyandotte County.. it was gross looking. Please don’t use this place.

This is not a real clinic, it is a religious organization trying to stop women from getting real medical care in hopes to stop abortions. They do not provide factual scientific information, they provide religious ideology and shame women. They had a catholic newspaper report about their grand opening. "by the grace of your holy spirit, make this 'pregnancy clinic' a place of blessing and a center of love, where 'physicians' practice wisely, nurses and aides serve with care, and where the faithful will come to assist Christ in the Person of their brothers and sisters...Grand that all who are provided care and assistance by this clinic will embrace life in all its forms, and joyfully thank you for the blessings they have received." This is not a real pregnancy clinic, their sole purpose here is to take advantage of poor and disenfranchised people by manipulating their life with their religious agenda. If you want REAL medical care, do not go here. If you need FREE things for the pregnancy you already want to keep, maybe consider going here IN ADDITION to going to a real medical provider.

They are super nice and want to help you! They offer many free resources and want to help women with their situations. They are super welcoming and supportive! I highly recommend you give them a chance!
