In my own experience with this establishment that is in the community and has been for many, many years, the experience was life changing and helped me to build myself up for my children. I really had to humble myself entirely being in that situation and show the people that mattered there, the ones that can get you the services you need, that I was willing to take the steps needed and work hard for my children to get out of this situation, when they see that a person is head strong and will work hard for what they need, they will go all out for you. If you go in there with an attitude toward everyone and make the living situation uncomfortable for everyone else and not get up and get dressed everyday and just want to hang around in pajamas all day starting drama, then don't expect much from them. I believe people that come here for help for themselves and their children(because ultimately it should be about doing better for your children) should just keep your head down, your mouth shut, don't spread negativity and NUMBER 1, show them you want to put in the work to help yourself, many more doors can open for that individual.
