Keeta R. rated 1 in the last week Very unprofessional and does not follow company core values. The entire company lacks management. Roach infestation in the kitchens and sleeping quarters. I felt sorry for the residents. They will suspend and discipline staff who report abuse at their unmanaged shelters for women. Pray for this place and the women and children who entrust in them as a safe-haven |

I would highly recommend this organization to anyone experience abuse who needs help.
My daughter and I were in a situation where we had to flee and needed emergency shelter.
Full transparency:
I learned that every case is different and that there’s a lot of people who need emergency help all at the same time. So for me it wasn’t a quick phone call and I was granted space. I was determined to get help so I called every single day while utilizing other resources until I was given to a room. From the moment I walked through the doors I was given love and support from the organization. Even at my lowest I still felt a sense of comfort because I knew we were finally safe.
Everything that the program offered I utilized, because of that I was able to rebuild a new life for my daughter and I. Not everything was given or handed to me which I think was important component throughout my process. I was given support and guidance to help me navigate and heal through my experiences. It set me up to be more confident, independent and I now possess the knowledge and tools that I need in order to live a life free from abuse. I am forever in debt to this amazing organization who saved my life. |
Jamella Thompson rated 1 a year ago I was given resources to help me with my situation and was advised to seek assistance from this organization. Since 2019 I have been trying to seek help for me and my children with no success. I am always rejected or never receive a follow up once my intake is done. I am a social worker myself and always wonder to myself how come all the clients I advise to seek help from this organization gets results and not me. I called to speak with a supervisor to inform them that I believe someone in that organization may possibly know my previous abuser in some way and may be restricting me from receiving help. A representative there informed me that there was a conflict of interest and that is why they would not represent me. There was no follow up or reasoning for it to be a conflict of interest and if so why am I not being told why. This organization is suppose to help and support women who have been physically and mentally abused, but if you have workers there who are being deceitful and bias to women who really are looking for help after enduring such trauma they should be reported with consequences. |
