I attempted to get help from Willow for several weeks following an assault from my partner at the end of three years of abuse, calling the office and hotline daily, and when I finally was able to see someone the session was very short. The counselor told me she would confirm that a court advocate would attend court with me and failed to, which caused me to not go to a court date I wanted to attend. I then asked if support groups were available to me and the counselor told me they were not without several one on one visits. All other organizations I called attempting to get help from directed me to Willow. I honestly would have been better off and wasted a lot less time if I had just never been told about Willow. Not sure what they actually do but they definitely didn’t help me.
