Me and my family moved to South Terrance apts from Saint Louis Missouri about 4 yrs ago. We definitely enjoying the change of scenery and have experienced politeness since we've been here. Recently the apts were rehabbed and new company took over housing contract. The new building are beautiful and my family is satisfied with all Waco housing has done for our family. It was a short process even getting our place. Thank you all for a opportunity to relocate to Texas!!!!!

I've been accepted for section 8 a lil over a month ago. And have yet to receive my voucher from the WACO HOUSING AUTHORITY. IVE BEEN CALLING MY CASE WORKER NEARLY EVERY OTHER DAY. LEFT VOICE MAILS . STILL NO RETURN CALL NOTHING. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING TO KNOW THAT YOUVE BEEN APPROVED AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVED YOUR VOUCHER is crazy. I can't even start looking for a place cause I'm waiting on my voucher. But from looking at the reviews on here to pictures of tenant's who have section 8 through Waco and what they experience. They need to be on the news cause this is crazy. I would hate to go over people's heads and get answers but I will. so I hope that I am contact here pretty soon or I will have to take nessesary measures to get the answer I need and I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting or that's has tried to contact there own case manager with no response .

I just applied there and i got acceptance letter Im seeing theses bad reviews on here I dont know where God got us going but Im excited about a new start.

The caseworkers are extremely rude!! &’ Very Unprofessional! Case worker “TIFFINAE MONTGOMERY” to be EXACT. No one should be talked to reckless like an animal instead of a human being, especially when they are already going through a hardship. This needs to be looked at &’ fixed immediately! Phone calls from ext 213 Tiffinae M. Need to be audited!

I know a woman personally who was qualified for section 8 choice voucher, but a supervisor denied her, her vouch because she wasn't a resident of Waco already, which is a violation of fair housing act. There isn't any place where this is true. Anyone can apply at any county! You can't not change the application qualifications to fit what you want! Unbelievable!
