I recently got married at this church and had a phenomenal experience. The church was beautiful and the mass was perfect. The whole staff was great but especially deacon Mike — he truly cared and made sure everything went smoothly. Thanks St. Patrick’s!!

It is the best Church ever, my two sons did their first communion this year 💙 The only thing is their receptionist is mean I forgot her name but she is the one working in the morning. So rude I hope you see my post and change your attitude, you are working for a Church not an a Government place, be nice !! Blessings for everybody else 🙏

I loved the service on Friday in Spanish. I also enjoyed the music and socialising after the service. I will be back soon.

I am not a gambler. However, to "mix my metaphors" by "going out on a limb and sticking my neck out," I would bet my life that Carmelite Saint Teresa of Avila, one of an only extreme minority of women Doctors in the Roman Catholic Church, was smiling and continues to smile beamingly in heaven. Why? Because Reverend Father John Comerford, O.Carm., of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province of Carmelites in the United States of America, returned to his home parish of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Joliet to preside at Holy Mass, and he homilized with such vitality, zest, and HUMOR that to this day--after decades of illustrious service as a reverent priest--he validates Saint Teresa's memorable plea to God: "Save us from dour saints." Ha! What a beautiful liturgical experience. A creative genius, Reverend Father John evoked both laughter and tears from the assembly gathered at the Saturday evening (weekend vigil) liturgy. Reverend Father John's visit was the greatest gift that I received this past Christmas season. Thank you, Good Shepherd. Thank you from the depths of my heart. ~ Robert L. Talkie, MA, PsyD
