This church is amazing, the leadership gives sermons that are based on what is current in today's world. Their summer camp and kids programs are amazing.

My wife and I have been going here for over a year, and the mountain road campus in particular, and it's been a great church overall. The worship is first rate, so long as you don't get distracted by the high-end stage lights and A/V equipment. Preaching and teaching is excellent on quality and delivery as well. They are non-denominational, and like to stick to the basics of Christian doctrine rather than emphasize particular positions some denominations may take. The online service option is also first-rate. I would recommend one of the other, smaller campuses (not the main Mountain Road one) if you like the feel of a smaller church for a Sunday service. All the facilities are top-notch and well maintained. Outside of a Sunday morning, the community is good, once you get plugged into a small group, as they have 8,000+ attendees across all their services and campuses on a normal Sunday, so it's easy to stay anonymous. They also like to host periodic events throughout the year. They have some community engagement and services project opportunities as well. Leadership from lead pastor Ben and the other Sr. pastors is excellent from what I can see, and the church seems to be growing too.

A loving, welcoming group that cares for the people in the church and the community. There are always a lot of free, fun events going on. It really is a place to call "home" and reminds us that God and church is for everyone! You'll love it.

I visited for a concert. It's a great location. Everyone there was super friendly.

I love Mountain Christian Church in Joppa, MD. The members of the church are very warm and God's presence is felt strongly in all the ways you would want in a church. Their singers and instrumentalists will have you feeling God's presence through their very moving music. If you have never experienced Mountain Christian Church which is a non-denominational church in person and/or virtually (online) I highly recommend it. You will be very happy you did. 🙏🙏
