I'm hiring for the Bangor/Brewer area and the folks at the center have been very helpful.

I have been in the Career Center quite a few times over the years. From Veteran Services, to looking at possible jobs and Resume advice. Every time I have gone in there, for whatever reason, I was met with caring people always willing to help. You can teach a person how to do a job, but the caring and dedication the entire staff displays is practically impossible to teach. This quality wells from inside each person in there. Great Job, everyone.

I am on ssi and not making enough to survive with my wife and two baby boys. I came here and I qualified for a full CDL funding. They are paying for my truckers license. I really love these nice people. I can’t appreciate their help enough. They are paying like $10,000 total for me, for my schooling: buying me work boots, and uniform when I start working. Paying like $5,000 for my CDL A trucker commercial license. Giving me gas money and buying me seeing glasses. They even offered to repair my car if it breaks down.

This place is awesome! Almost don't even know where to begin naming names, but Susan, Theresa, Patty and Mike are amoung just a few that have been extremely helpful to me personally really going the extra stretch to get you on the right path. Also, wish I could remember more names, but the kind ladies at the desk greeting you as you walk in sure do give a great positive start to your experience at the career center.
