Well, I'd have to say, this church has exceeded my expectations in more than one way. And these days, I lower the bar anymore with churches for one reason or another. But it doesn't hurt that, on my first visit to a Sunday morning Bible study, Pastor Doug Page paid the class a quick visit. What a surprise! That won points with me, and he even MET me that same morning. He does take some time out of his busy schedule to say "Hi" to people, and that's saying something. As for the advanced singles class (lack of a better word as I don't want to use older), the leaders have gone above and beyond in making me welcome in the group. I don't see that in many congregations nowadays, so kudos to this group in Grapevine. Services have been a blessing. Still have a ways to go before deciding on a church home, but First Baptist Grapevine has given itself an advantage with good outreach. I can recommend this church for families AND for singles. It's got the location, a commitment to God, good pecan coffee, and a great friendly spirit. Those are the keys to a fine church. And it is.

Such a great community of people. As soon as we started going here they made us feel like family. While it is a big church it has a small town feel. People quickly get to know you by name and want to help in any way they can. They have so many activities and different ways to worship, something to fit every lifestyle.

I love this church! We are all a family and I love how it is neither big nor small! As I have been to many different churches this really is the one I can see my self in for ever!!!

I have gone 5 times now and love this church. The Lord has brought me here and I am going to join. I have come from Sugar Creek Baptist in Sugar Land Texas. You have got to come to this church. You will be blessed
