Horrible. At responding to people They take years just for quick response to keep you updated

The team at CTI were amazing to me. They made really challenging time in my life less daunting. Every person I came into contact with showed empathy and wracked their brains for every little way they could help me. It is so obviously more than just a paycheck to the people who make CTI what it has been to me. And the free lollipops never hurt.

I wanted to write a review here because it seems there is no other way to get this issued resolved with who I'm dealing with or a higher up, I guess there isn't one from what CTI told me. Apparently the highest person to speak with that runs the program at ACO flex services is JoAnn Howell, who has not returned a phone call to me in well over a month. I had Marilyn Graham who ordered me new furniture from Bobs as I am a struggling single mother to a toddler that was homeless for 6 months. I appreciated getting the furniture which is why I am giving a 2 instead of a 1. I was also supposed to get essentials from Amazon like pots, pans, shower curtain, bedding, plates, and utensils as well as a barrel back in the middle of AUGUST. It is now mid November. I had in issue back on August 27th where I was supposed to have my list submitted but it suddenly disappeared and at the time Marilyn was on vacation and Joann was supposed to resubmit these items where I had to come up with everything I had on it all over again. Then I had to wait for it to be approved again. About two weeks later it had supposedly been approved. But I ended up only receiving the trash barrel and nothing else. I have called at least once a week since then and continue to be told by Merilyn that they are having a meeting and Joann is trying to find out where the stuff is or order is. I tried calling Joann a few times as well and she has not returned a phone call since September. I don't get responses for week or two at a time. Then when I finally get called back the response is " I'm not ignoring you, I just don't have an update yet" " we are having a meeting and I'm going to call you this day. I never get a call on the day I'm told, so I continue to call to get the same week delayed response along the same lines. This is supposed to be here to help people. This is now just really stressing me out. I have had a 3 dollar liner in my shower for 3 months. No comforter, bath rug, and cooking utensils. Whoever funds this program needs to address the severe breakdown in communication and functioning because the last thing people requesting this kind of essential assistance is getting the run around and having to call them repeatedly on their to do list for months while they go without things they need. Maybe the people who fund this program will reach out or address this issue, but at this point I'm sick of holding out hope that I will get these essentials for my home.
