Terrible people that never call and get back to you. They are rude and Inconsiderate always with an smart remark. Boston teamwork is much better!

I’ve never left a negative review but hopefully This will help others out in the future and maybe get the attention of someone who can return a simple phone call. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a housing authority and I have rented to dozens of tenants with housing vouchers. The tenant they placed in my apartment decided to leave 7 days before the end of a month. I told the tenant they still have 7 months on their lease and cannot just decide to leave but I’d be willing to work with them if they give me 60 days to find a new tenant. People’s lives change, I get that. Don’t sign a 12 month lease if you’re going to live a nomad lifestyle. The first of the month came around and I didn’t receive payment from CTI (I never gave consent to early termination of the lease). The tenant moved most of their belongings out but lefts tons of food and the apartment very dirty. After 5 voicemails and 8 phone calls over the course of 16 days I still have not heard back. Terrible organization. You’re doing a huge disservice to all the future families that will need your assistance and completely destroying your reputation so landlords won’t want to work with you. I’m embarrassed for you and feel bad for the families in need of rental assistance.

I was reading some of these reviews as I never really thought about reading the reviews about this particular place! In the past I can say that they helped me out tremendously on my background. However, with everything come certain stipulations and guidelines, sometimes there are loopholes other times there are not! It is An information center, It is not the DTA. They cannot find you emergency housing on the usual! That being said, I understand some people on here are stating they needed help or somebody to advocate for them. It is so important that you help yourself help others! So if you need something you have to do the footwork and provide everything that they request or they will not be able to help you! Unfortunately that's the way it works but the center is always open to go in and get all the pamphlets of all the related things that you may need, but unfortunately they are not there to run around for others. They are a center for people to come to!

Worst inspections department I've ever had to deal with. The inspectors find any reason possible to fail all your annual inspections so they can abate the rent and justify their bureaucracy. Very unprofessional.

This organization is a joke! We have been trying to get assistance for almost a year and they are famous for ignoring your phone calls and emails. We are truly tired of this place getting state and federal money, but not using it for those truly desperate people that need it. We are filing a lawsuit and we are also contacting the IRS to challenge their nonprofit status. We will also make a report to the ma dor. If you have been ignored by these unscrupulous shysters, contact me. Or… Let your experience be known on social media. We have to take a stand against this type of fraud. Imagine the millions of dollars it disappeared during Covid into their coffers? Meanwhile we are out here living on the streets or paying all of our disability income for rent! It’s disgusting.
