Jordyn Krone rated 1 6 months ago As someone worked with community services for almost two years. I can truthfully say that what the position puts you through isn’t worth how you’re treated. It will have an emotional tool on you and is physically and mentally draining. I worked as a Behavioral Technician. I had a decent boss until he recognized that he deserved better and left as well. Nobody lasts, there’s a high turn over rate and they struggle to hire people and when they can’t they overload the cases to other workers with zero regard of their schedule. They’ll make you go all over wny and alter your paychecks. The new person who they hired to oversee the technicians, Melissa (Missy) is not qualified, unprofessional, and extremely rude. The position allows you to help and work with children who actually need help and it is great hands on experience for someone who’s in grad school or looking to build their field experience. But don’t think you’ll be prepared for some of the situations you’re put in. When you need help from your boss you won’t receive help. Not to mention you’re paid poorly so don’t expect a pay increase either. If you have any self respect for yourself I’d look at another company unless they hired a supervisor who is more qualified. |

Toyo Boyd rated 1 a year ago This agency is a joke I missed the agency community services for disabled this new agency community for every don't really help u they only help that beneficial for them my father passed away last year on February 5th and my care coordinator and the agency took advantage of that and I needed a new payee which I had and my coordinator talked to the ssi people to hold my money or what conversation they had I dident get my money 4 almost 6 months and don't that long for them to change payees which already had almost lost every thing because of community services for every one then 4 months ago my care coordinator ask me for the bills like they always did so your rent can go little lower to make easy checking my bills to see if my payee was doing what he was doing what ge was supposed to do and she aske reason why my bills is so high and I told call si and asked them when they send me my checks community services trying to be my payee and I dident need them to be please do not go to this agency cause they will try every they can to be your payee and they really don't help u they only help u when it's beneficial and convenient for them I just quit them this year |
