Friendly staff and volunteers. Good healthy food. If you have your Identification and proof of residency ready it will go faster when you go in. If you been there before have your card and your number ready. Pay attention to your number, because they will call it and pass you if your not paying attention.

This organization gives the best, most nutritious food you could imagine, and they are more than generous. They have kept me from being hungry for a couple of months now. Unfortunately the drawbacks of.utiluzing this resource are becoming greater than the need for food. The intake process has become so slow that it really clogs the line together in. There are generally only 3 of the 4 intake positions filled and one of them is often doing other things. The wait time can top 3 hours at times. I have witnessed an employee/volunteer harassing some women as they get inside. He is often found eating the food meant for people truly needing the food. He has taken food out of my basket before telling me I was "greedy". There is another security guard that I have witnessed stashing food in bags for herself to take home later . Call me crazy, but number 1, food is for clients, and 2, shouldn't these employees be more concerned with getting people through the line? Today I am here with my friend that gives me a ride and he got a number but not me. And he states they"need to be out by 2:30 today".so they close at 3 but today they are closing early. Maybe a different system of getting people in and out should be explored. An online check in maybe? People who work wouldn't have to take off an entire morning just to get food. There has got to be a better way. I love the concept of City Square. What they do is beyond amazing, they just need to do better by the people waiting for hours for food.

Alot going on in this place,excellent workers who do more than they should to be a great place to take up what they offer, food pantry, work in Texas, case workers , ect.

Have been waiting 2 hours 45 minutes to utilize the food bank. there are 3 intake counselors working and on average they are processing roughly 10 people every 15 minutes. EVEN IF THEY ARE A REPEAT CLIENT THAT HAS UTILIZED THE SERVICE BEFORE. This is unacceptable. it looks like they will not call my number before noon when they close for 1 hour to restock. this will push my visit to nearly 4 hours. This now has cost me 3 hours of work at 15/hour and i was just informed that im being written up for delayed absence during work hours. Thanks ShittySquare!
