i moved out 3.5 months ago and still have not received my deposit back or any documentation explaining why i have not received my deposit back. I have been constantly reassured i would be receiving it back and still have not.

Great group to work with. They have developed some incredible buildings.

Horrible rental management company

Ascend Apartments serves as the property manager of the building I reside in and they're the worst! Other tenants and myself have put in work orders months ago that still haven't been fulfilled. They do not regularly clean or exterminate the property. The light bulb on the second floor landing of the building has been out for months and I called and emailed multiple times and still no one has come to resolve the matter. We are unable to properly enter or exit the building due to the door sticking (a big fire hazard) and the lock on the gate is broken. I reached out to the so called emergency line and received a response over a week later from Noah apologizing because he was on vacation. What's the purpose of an emergency line? I'm sure he's not the only employee! Most recently, we don't have any hot water. Other tenants in the building notified management days ago and nothing was done. Today, the large pipes in the basement burst. Management was notified and no one has done anything! When I do speak to someone, which is rare since they don't answer the phone, they make empty promises with no follow through. The only thing they do is collect rent. If this management company is over the building you're interested in, RUN! Nine times out of ten there's is a slum lord (yes, slum lord because I've definitely included my landlord on communications about what's happening and he's done nothing) that owns the place who doesn't care about anything but a profit. Due to lack of management, the building owners will have to pay out lots of money in fines since the building is not up to city code.

My experience with Ascend Real Estate Group is great so far.Ive been here only a couple of weeks but everything is good so far.
