I am so grateful that I gave this place a chance. I came in for a pregnancy test and ultrasound, both were free of charge. My initial thoughts were that I would be in and out. Even though you’re coming in for a pregnancy test, expect to be there for an hour. I met with Ms.Rowena, she is one of the counselors and she is truly an angel ! I appreciate her help so much. Lily was my ultrasound technician and she is also amazing. What really makes this place outstanding is the people working here. I had a great experience.

Absolutely appreciate all of the staff here, especially the manager. She went out of her way to make sure I was helped after I was late to my appointment due to getting off of work. Made what could’ve been a stressful process for me, really smooth. Also, very informative and connected me to a lot of great resources!

The incredible support, services, and people at the Fifth Ward Pregnancy Help Center have made a significant impact on my life! When I first discovered I was pregnant, I entered the center feeling scared, nervous, and unsure. From the very beginning, everyone I encountered provided the exact support I needed and more. Shayla, the Director, welcomed me with warmth and attentiveness, by patiently listening to my story during my outpour of cries. She assured me that everything would be okay and that they were committed to supporting me through each step—a promise they undoubtedly fulfilled. During the ultrasound session with Sydney, I was guided through essential details such as my due date, possible conception date, and current weeks of pregnancy, plus more! Sydney's kindness and compassion made the experience much more manageable, and I felt a range of emotions. To support those overwhelming emotions, a life coach was also available. Mrs. Eveline, the life coach, exceeded her role by offering not only guidance but also a motherly presence, and providing invaluable emotional support and mentorship. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at the center for their positivity, guidance, and unwavering support they've provided. The thought of my journey without this center brings tears to my eyes. Their influence has been instrumental in boosting my confidence to move forward with my pregnancy. Even to this day, the team at the center continues to be a crucial part of my journey, consistently offering support. I am thankful to have the people, services, and support of the Fifth Ward Pregnancy Help Center in my life. Their assistance has empowered me to make the most informed decision, and for that, I am forever appreciative!

The pregnancy help center is a Center for pregnant women that have little to no income. If you don’t have insurance you can also come to this location. They do free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds. They also do abortion reversal medication‘s. I took a friend here to confirm pregnancy and get her first ultrasound. Everything was paid for. The facility was very clean. It was easy to park and get access to the facility. Sydney was the ultrasound technician and she was beyond wonderful. After the appointment they provide you with information for Medicaid or low income assistance. On Mondays at their two locations in Houston they have first time other classes. That gives information about first time pregnancies. They also provided my friend with prenatal care vitamins. And beginning mothers package with some diapers and little baby items. I’m very thankful for this experience and this center that provides help for women. What a wonderful experience thank you so much for helping us get on the right track for a successful pregnancy!!
