Awesome people

The management is very rude they belittle people and discriminate or pick favorites other than that it's clean and the dinners served by volunteer are always good and it's great to see people care because no one wants to be homeless! There are no other choices because families can't afford rent or a single person even! But people think homeless don't shower n bad people but it's not that way everyone's accepted there and try to support other tenants but their are showers! People do shower!! And if you are not doing your chore we all have which the house is neat and clean there are two laundry washer and dryer for people also so I give the Good samaratin 3 stars and that's for how everyone helps everyone and come together! The staff can be rude some are great and joke around but also gets strict when rules are broken! Which is great so people aren't out of control, they do brethalizers every time someone leaves n come back in when they open the doors which is not right kicking people out all day either freezing cold or horribly hot weather all day long allot of people are disabled so I do not think that rule is nesissary at all! If you not feeling well they don't even give the option to rest either.......again no one plans or wants that they just cant afford a home for themselves with rent so high or family's get evicted and no one cares it's sad really.......very sad but that's what I think and know about how they work there in talking about staff and a certain manager can be nice to people's face but can tell it's fake then the longer your there the meaner and rude embarrassing this person gets! This manager is over worked which does not help! And staff sit in the office and talk about tenants and can totally be heard! Laugh at people like their stupid and how dare they ask that or did that!! Rude rude rude......The only problem! Like the Matilda movies and miss honey and the old mean principle that hates everyone and every child overly strict which is down right mean!!!!

It's a great option for people that have no place to go, & sleep especially with the cold weather coming in. It's good for the community if it's being used for the right reasons, 4 some of you, it is just horribly, & too bad how much it's taken advantage of, other than it's a great thing to have for the community in our town...

This place is a magnet for the lowest of the low society has to offer. Literally nobody in the neighborhood wants it around. The city needs to close it and let other cities take homeless or let them freeze in the winter.

I stayed there when time's were rough but after a few months of working with the staff got me into my own apartment with a housing voucher!! They didn't just help me,they saved my life,i would have taken my own life if my situation got any worse,all my life did after they told me over and over I'm worth the effort and trouble to get the help I deserved,i just needed to find it,and boy oh boy did I ever!! Thank you so much Kim,Judy, the "other" Kim lol seriously,these people are like my family now,i truly love them,and this usually doesn't happen at shelters so I'm just very grateful and they deserve all the praises and contributions they can get!!!?GOD BLESS GOOD SAMARITAN SHELTER!!!
